What should I check before I call for heating repair?

1. Check the thermostat to be sure it’s set on “heat” for wintertime operation.
2. Check the circuit breaker in the electrical panel to be sure it’s set in the on position. If you have fuses, check for a blown fuse.
3. Is there power to the furnace? Check that all switches are in the on position.
4. Has the filter been changed? A blocked filter can cause a furnace to shut down due to inadequate air flow. Similarly, are the air intake grills open and clear of obstructions?
5. Clean the contacts on a non-digital thermostat.

4. Has the filter been changed? A blocked filter can cause an air conditioning system to shut down due to inadequate air flow. Similarly, are the air intake grills open and clear of obstructions?

When should I schedule my maintenance cleaning?
-> For Air Conditioners - perform maintenance/cleaning once a year during the Spring (before the high temps of the summer)
-> For Furnaces - perform maintenance/cleaning once a year during the Fall (before the cold weather hits)
What does an AC clean & check include?
AIR CONDITIONER CLEAN & CHECK
-> Inspect Condenser coil and cabinet - clean as needed
-> Clean dirt, leaves and debris off outside Coils (property cleaned from the INSIDE out)
-> Inspect unit for proper refrigerant level
-> Inspect AC fan motor and fan blades for wear or damage plus proper voltage
-> Check Amperage draw and electrical connections
-> Inspect Furnace air filter - replace customer provided filter

How do I know if my gas furnace needs repair?
SIGNS YOUR HEATING SYSTEM NEEDS REPAIR
-> Not enough heat or none at all
-> Furnace cycles on and off too frequently
-> Furnace blower runs continuously
-> Furnace makes squealing or rumbling sounds
-> Furnace comes on for a few seconds and then turns off
-> Furnace burners do not ignite
-> Furnace is running but not reaching temp set on Tstat

Do you offer Free Estimates?
If you are looking to replace your existing Furnace or Air Conditioner, 24/7 Heat & Cool is happy to provide a free, no-cost or obligation estimate on a new AC and/or Furnace. If you are needing repairs on your Furnace or AC, there would be a service fee charged to come out and diagnose the issue and give you the repair cost. [Note: We would credit this service fee off of a new Furnace or AC installation if you choose that option instead of repairing the unit.]
What size are your washers?
20lb-80lb washers.
What is the cost for washing/drying?
20lb from 2.75-$3.00, 30lb from $3.75-$4.25, 45lb from $4.75-$5.75, 62lb from $6.75-$7.75, 80lb from $9.00.
Do you have free drying?
Glenville/Cleveland location drying is free with your wash. Garfield locations the drying is 75 cents for 24 mins to start the dryer (which is typically all that's needed) but after that its 8 mins per quarter.

Yes, our machines can give change for $1, $5, $10, $20 dollars bills.

Yes, there is a detergent vending machine on-site.
Do you have an attendant?
At our Glenville location there is staff on duty at all times. Turney 1 and 2 is unattended but there is help within 15 mins away if needed and 24/7 cameras that are viewed at all times.
Can I wash my comforter?
Yes, you can. We can wash up to holding a capacity of 80lbs or a king-sized comforter.
Do you have wifi?
There is Free wifi at all locations.
Are your locations safe?
Yes there are safe and well-lit, also have 24/7 cameras.
Is there parking?
There is close parking at all locations and there is the capability of pulling your car up right to the front door if needed for dropping off a lot of clothes.
